Creamy Garlic Pasta

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly with the creamy garlic sauce.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
