Air Fryer Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls

Air Fryer Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 21 oz (595g) can of cherry pie filling
  • Cooking spray (oil)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

Prepare the Filling:

In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Egg Rolls:

Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you.

Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the cheesecake mixture into the center of the wrapper.

Add 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake mixture.

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly. Moisten the top corner with a bit of water to seal it closed.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.

Cook the Egg Rolls:

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the egg rolls seam side down in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch each other.

Lightly spray the tops of the egg rolls with cooking spray.

Air fry at 370°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve:

Remove from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Pro Tips:

Avoid Overfilling: Too much filling can cause the egg rolls to burst during cooking.

Sealing: Ensure the edges are tightly sealed to prevent the filling from leaking out.

Cooking Spray: A light spray helps achieve a golden, crispy exterior.

Serving Suggestions: Serve warm with whipped cream or extra cherry pie filling for dipping.
