 Classic Cheeseburge

Ingredients:


  1. Ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  2. Salt and pepper
  3. Hamburger buns
  4. Cheese slices (American, cheddar, or your choice)
  5. Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions:


  1. Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into patties, season with salt and pepper, and shape them into even rounds.
  3. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  4. Place a cheese slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a separate pan.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty on the bun and adding your desired toppings. Serve hot.
