Classic Cheeseburge
Ingredients:
- Ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
- Salt and pepper
- Hamburger buns
- Cheese slices (American, cheddar, or your choice)
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into patties, season with salt and pepper, and shape them into even rounds.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- Place a cheese slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a separate pan.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty on the bun and adding your desired toppings. Serve hot.
