Snapper filets with ginger soy syrup
Ingredients :
- 2 medium carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 2 medium zucchini, cut into matchsticks
- 4 × 9-ounce snapper filets, skin on
- 1 cup bottled sweet chili, ginger, and soy marinade

Snapper filets with ginger soy syrup
Instructions :
- Boil, steam, or microwave carrots and zucchini, separately, until tender.
- Meanwhile, score fish skin. Cook fish, skin-side down, in heated oiled large frying pan about 5 minutes. Turn fish; cook about 3 minutes. Remove from pan.
- Add 1⁄3 cup water and marinade to pan; stir until hot.
- Serve fish with sauce and vegetables.
Tip :
Julienning is a method of cutting vegetables into long thin strips (also called matchsticks). You can buy “juliennepeelers” that have very sharp teeth, or, alternatively, just cut the strips very carefully using a sharp knife.
